Spellbound by the scale and power of the Himalayas, thrilled by new experiences, and savoring the intermittent company of India’s people – I am looking forward to tramping around the village of Sidhbari for the next 6 months. Allowing my life to be shaped by circumstances and the unknown, I will be spending my mornings attending prayer and yoga, days volunteering at the Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development (CORD), and nights and weekends exploring my new backyard. Observing my own spirit soaring, I pray that anyone willing from the Western world could experience this unfamiliar and distant place.
To be continued... There's no time to write about my last night in India, rooming with the cockroaches... Will write blurb in 48 hours... :0) hehehe
